Privacy Policy

1. Controller

ClinicDraft, Spiegelgutstrasse 52, 8200 Schaffhausen, Switzerland, is responsible for the processing of personal data described here. Questions: hello@clinicdraft.ch.

2. What we process

• Account data: email address, authentication data, language preference.
• Content data: the notes you enter, uploaded writing-style samples and the documents generated from them.
• Billing data: subscription status and plan. Card details are processed by Stripe and never stored by us.
• Technical data: log and error data required to operate and secure the service.

3. Purposes and legal basis

We process data to provide the service (contract performance), to bill subscriptions (contract and legal obligation), to secure and improve the platform (legitimate interest) and, where required, on the basis of your consent. Processing follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR.

4. Patient data

You decide what you enter. We recommend pseudonymising patient identifiers wherever possible. Content you submit is used only to generate your documents and to operate the service. We do not use your clinical content to train public AI models.

5. Processors and transfers

We use vetted providers for hosting and database services, AI text generation, payment processing (Stripe) and transactional email. Some providers may process data outside Switzerland or the EU; in that case we rely on standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

6. Retention

Documents and style samples are kept until you delete them or close your account. Billing records are kept for the statutory retention period (10 years in Switzerland). Log data is kept for a short period for security purposes.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored with encryption at rest. Access is restricted by row-level access rules so each account can only reach its own documents.

8. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, or object to processing. Write to hello@clinicdraft.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

9. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage for login sessions and your language preference. We do not use advertising cookies. Details are set out in our Cookie Policy.

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page with its revision date.
